Fred Herscovitch is an artist whose work unveils the hidden beauty of the natural world—realms normally invisible to the human eye. Drawing inspiration from science and guided by its tools, he has spent his career exploring the unseen, from microscopic crystals to distant galaxies.

Over twelve years, Herscovitch used photomicrographs as the foundation for Micro Art, a series of paintings that captured the intricate brilliance of crystalline structures. This journey into the microcosm expanded with Invisible Worlds, where he translated the surreal imagery of Schlieren, Kirlian, thermographic, and infrared photography into vivid, otherworldly canvases.

His gaze then turned to the cosmos. Using images from giant radio telescopes, he created Galaxies of Light, a series portraying galaxies and nebulae in luminous, abstract form. Spanning the microscopic to the astronomical, Herscovitch’s art invites viewers into dimensions of nature we rarely see—but always feel.
